Power shutdown scheduled for various areas across Jammu region
Jammu, April 30: Chief Engineer of JPDCL Jammu has announced a series of power shutdowns to facilitate maintenance work across several districts.
On May 01, residents in Palma, Kotranka, Budhal, and Prori will experience a power cut from 8 am to 3 pm, while Nonial, Manpur, Jhanger, and Darhal will see outages from 7 am to 12 noon. Additionally, the Ujh Barrage, Chainpura, and Mandir areas will face power interruptions between 6 am and 10 am on both May 01 and May 02.
On May 02, the shutdown will extend to Manjakote, Thathri, Gandoh, and Kilhotran from 8 am to 3 pm. Urban areas including Jewel, Canal Road, Shakti Nagar, and Bhagwati Nagar will be affected from 6 am to 12 noon. Industrial zones and specialized installations in Battal Ballian, Rathian, and various airforce sites will also face power cuts from 10 am to 3 pm, while Trikuta Nagar and Digiana are scheduled for an outage from 7 am to 2 pm.
Further maintenance on May 03 will impact airforce installations specifically from 10 am to 2 pm. Authorities have also noted that power supply to Nomain and Dhanori will be affected on May 02 from 11 am to 3 pm on a rotational basis.
Residents in the mentioned locations are advised to plan accordingly for these scheduled maintenance periods to minimize inconvenience.
