LG Manoj Sinha Grants Compassionate Appointment to Wife of Martyred J&K Police Constable

SRINAGAR, MARCH 15: In a solemn ceremony held today, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, handed over an official appointment letter on compassionate grounds to Shabeena Bashir.

Shabeena is the widow of the late Constable (Photographer) Javid Mansoor Rather, a dedicated member of the Crime Branch J&K Police who tragically lost his life in the line of duty during an accidental blast in the Nowgam area.

This gesture serves as a tribute to the Constable’s sacrifice and a commitment to the welfare of the families of fallen heroes.

During the interaction, Lieutenant Governor Sinha expressed his deepest condolences and personally assured Mst. Shabeena Bashir of the J&K Administration’s full support.

He emphasized that the government remains steadfast in its resolve to provide all possible assistance and a secure future for the bereaved family.

The appointment is part of a broader effort by the administration to ensure that the dependents of police personnel martyred in the service of the nation are provided with adequate livelihood and dignity.
