Road Safety Awareness Seminar Held at BHSS Kullan Under Swachhta Pakhwada Campaign

GANDERBAL, March 14, 2026 — As part of the ongoing Swachhta Pakhwada campaign, a comprehensive road safety awareness seminar was organized today at the Government Boys Higher Secondary School (BHSS) Kullan.
The event aimed to educate students and the local community on the vital importance of traffic discipline and public safety. Key officials, including ARTO Er. Arif Parvez Shah and DYSP Ganderbal Gulzar Ahmad, addressed the gathering, highlighting the rising concerns over traffic violations and the urgent need for a collective shift in commuter behavior to prevent avoidable accidents.
During the seminar, the speakers emphasized that strict adherence to traffic rules is not merely a legal obligation but a moral responsibility to protect human lives.
ARTO Er. Arif Parvez Shah provided technical insights into road safety protocols, while DYSP Gulzar Ahmad urged the youth to act as ambassadors for change by following speed limits and wearing protective gear.
The Education Department officials present also underscored the role of academic institutions in fostering a culture of responsibility.
