Manipur Chief Minister Flags Off Assam Rifles National Integration Tour for Youth to Kerala and Tamil NaduI
MPHAL, March 4, 2026 — In a major initiative to bolster national unity and provide broader exposure to the younger generation, Manipur Chief Minister Shri Yumnam Khemchand officially flagged off a ten-day National Integration Tour from the Keithelmanbi Garrison today.
Organized by the Assam Rifles, the tour comprises 24 selected youths representing diverse districts across the state, including Imphal East, Imphal West, Bishnupur, Thoubal, Ukhrul, Tamenglong, Senapati, Chandel, and Kangpokpi. This enriching journey will take the participants to prominent Indian cities and landmarks, including Thiruvananthapuram, Kanniyakumari, and Kolkata, allowing them to witness firsthand the nation’s vast cultural heritage, historical significance, and ongoing developmental progress.
By facilitating this cross-regional engagement, the Assam Rifles aims to inspire the youth and reinforce the “Whole-of-Nation” spirit, offering them a unique platform to experience the diversity and strength of India beyond the North East.
