FEROZEPUR, February 14, 2026 – In a significant crackdown on cross-border smuggling networks, the Ferozepur Police successfully dismantled a high-profile narco-arms module, apprehending four suspects in a coordinated operation.
The tactical strike led to the recovery of a massive haul, including 22.295 kg of Heroin, two sophisticated Glock pistols along with magazines and live cartridges, a vehicle used for transport, and ₹2.05 lakh in drug money.
This breakthrough underscores the intensifying efforts by law enforcement to intercept high-grade narcotics and illegal weaponry entering the region.
Following the arrests, an FIR has been formally registered, and a comprehensive investigation is currently underway to map out the forward and backward linkages of the syndicate.
Police officials stated that the probe aims to identify the kingpins and international handlers behind the consignment to completely dismantle the supply chain.
