Security enhanced as CISF intercepts two passengers with country made pistol at Delhi Metro station
NEW DELHI, July 3, 2026:- Central Industrial Security Force personnel demonstrated exceptional vigilance by detecting a country-made pistol along with a live round during a routine security screening at the Mandi House Metro Station of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation.
Two passengers carrying the weapon were intercepted and immediately apprehended by the on-duty security team. The firearm and ammunition were safely secured during the operation.
Following the interception, both individuals were handed over to the Delhi Police for further legal investigation and action.
