JAMMU, February 04, 2026 — In a major breakthrough against property crimes, the Jammu (Rural) Police has successfully solved two high-profile theft cases, leading to the arrest of four suspects and the recovery of substantial stolen assets.

Following a diligent investigation led by PSI Arjun Singh, Incharge Police Post Chinore, under the jurisdiction of Police Station Domana, authorities recovered approximately 150 grams (15 tolas) of gold ornaments linked to a residential burglary reported in November 2025.

The arrested individuals, identified as Bhader Ali—a known habitual offender—Bunty, and Riaz Ahmed, were apprehended after sustained questioning led to the disclosure and seizure of the jewelry. In a separate operation targeting vehicle theft, the police arrested Bagh Hussain, a resident of Bhaderwah, following the theft of a Royal Enfield Bullet in January.

His confession led investigators to a significant haul of 12 additional stolen motorcycles, bringing the total recovery to 13 vehicles. Both cases, registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), remain under active investigation as police anticipate further arrests and recoveries in connection with these criminal modules.
