KISHTWAR, Jan 31, 2026 — In a move to strengthen the security apparatus in the region, Northern Army Commander Lt Gen Pratik Sharma visited Kishtwar today to conduct a comprehensive review of the current counter-terrorism grid and operational preparedness.
The visit comes at a critical juncture as security forces remain heavily engaged in high-intensity operations across the sector.During his visit, the Army Commander held detailed discussions with ground commanders to evaluate the strategic layout and the efficacy of ongoing missions.
