KATHUA, Jan 29, 2026 — The Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL), O&M Circle Kathua, has announced a scheduled power shutdown affecting several localities to facilitate essential maintenance and repair work. According to the Superintending Engineer (Distribution), the power supply to Gurah, Utterbehni, and surrounding neighborhoods will be suspended on January 30 from 9 AM to 2 PM.
Additionally, consumers in Jogpur, Industry, and nearby areas should prepare for a similar outage on January 31, with electricity scheduled to be off during the same window from 9 AM to 2 PM. Residents and industrial units in these zones are advised to plan their activities accordingly to minimize inconvenience during these necessary infrastructure upgrades.
