GOC Lt Gen DS Kushwah Reviews Strategic Military Stations and Chairs Civil-Military Fusion Conclave
Nagpur, January 23, 2026: Lieutenant General DS Kushwah, AVSM, SM, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Goa Area, concluded a high-level four-day visit to the Nagpur, Kamptee, and Pulgaon Military Stations, spanning from January 19 to 22, 2026.
A key highlight of the visit was the General Officer presiding over the Military-Civil Fusion Conclave, an initiative organized by the Uttar Maharashtra and Gujarat Sub Area to strengthen synergy between military and civil authorities in addressing multi-domain security challenges.
During the comprehensive tour, Lt Gen Kushwah conducted a detailed review of security and logistics protocols at the Central Ammunition Depot (CAD) Pulgaon.
At Kamptee, he assessed the training standards of Agniveers, inspected the Army Postal Wing, and visited the Army Public School.
Furthermore, the GOC engaged with defense industry leaders at JSR Dynamics to evaluate indigenous technological capabilities.
These high-profile engagements underscored the Indian Army’s strategic focus on institutional synergy, realistic training modules, and the continuous pursuit of operational excellence across the region.
