JAMMU, JANUARY 05, 2026 – The annual religious congregation, or “Mail,” of the Khajuria Biradari is set to be celebrated with traditional religious fervor on January 14, 2026, coinciding with the auspicious festival of Makar Sankranti. Addressing the media on Monday, Ajit Khajuria, President of the Bawa Ambo Samarak Committee, along with Vice President Yash Pal Khajuria, announced that the event will take place at the Devsthan located near Bagh-e-Bahu. Expecting a massive gathering of approximately 30,000 devotees from across Jammu and Kashmir and neighboring states, the committee has finalized all arrangements to facilitate those seeking the blessings of their Kuldevta, Bawa Ambo Ji.
The spiritual program will commence with the Kuldev Pujan, followed by a Hawan Yagya to invoke divine blessings. Starting from 10:00 AM, a Priti Bhoj (community feast) will be served to all visiting devotees.
In addition to the religious ceremonies, the committee is organizing a free medical camp where prominent doctors will provide consultations and distribute free medicines to those in need.
Committee members and activists, including Sudershan Khajuria, Subash Shastri, and several others, have extended a warm invitation to the entire Khajuria Biradari to participate in large numbers and ensure the success of this sacred annual event.
