RAMBAN, DECEMBER 25: District Hospital (DH) Ramban has reached a significant healthcare milestone by successfully performing its first-ever aesthetic surgical procedure. A 22-year-old male patient, diagnosed with bilateral Type IIb Idiopathic Gynecomastia, underwent a bilateral subcutaneous mastectomy.
The procedure was conducted under epidural analgesia following a comprehensive preoperative evaluation and a hormonal profile that confirmed the patient was within normal health limits.The landmark surgery was performed by the surgical team of Dr. Yassar Arafat and Dr. Syed Muzammil, with specialized anesthesia services managed by Dr. Reyaz Dagloo. The medical team was supported by Zahoor, Haroon, and Reyaz, whose technical assistance ensured the smooth execution of the operation.
