Vice President CP Radhakrishnan releases book on CAG audit interventions in New Delhi

NEW DELHI, June 3, 2026:- Vice President CP Radhakrishnan today released a book titled ‘When Audit Matters: CAG Interventions That Made a Difference’ at the Uprashtrapati Bhavan.

The book is edited by former Comptroller and Auditor General Vinod Rai. Speaking on the occasion, the Vice President highlighted that audit serves as a vital instrument for strengthening democracy, reinforcing the essential trust between the State and its citizens through accountability, efficiency, and fairness in the utilization of public resources.

He also emphasized that auditors themselves must strictly adhere to the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct while performing their duties.
