Udhampur Police Use Sniffer Dogs to Inspect Courier Offices for Illegal Narcotics

UDHAMPUR, May 07, 2026 — As part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyan, Udhampur Police conducted a series of extensive inspections at various courier and cargo establishments across the district. The operation aimed to curb the trafficking of illegal substances and ensure that delivery services are not exploited for the transportation of narcotics.

Police teams focused their efforts on multiple facilities located in Bharat Nagar, Siyal Sallan, Roundomail, the Industrial Area, and Shiv Nagar.The inspection was significantly bolstered by the assistance of a specialized sniffer dog squad.
