SRINAGAR, MAY 09: Srinagar Police intensified its crackdown on drug trafficking under the Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyan by attaching immovable properties worth over 3.50 crore. The assets belong to three notorious drug peddlers currently involved in multiple cases under the NDPS Act.

Investigations confirmed that the property was acquired using proceeds generated from illicit drug trafficking activities. In a separate action, Police Station Nowgam attached a significant estate belonging to Mehrajuddin Ganie, a resident of Wagoora.
The attached assets, valued at around 1.50 crore, include 18 marlas of land, a residential building, and a cow shed. This action follows his involvement in a 2025 case under the NDPS Act, with evidence suggesting the property was procured through illegal drug trade.
