NCC Gujarat chief reviews training camps and felicitates Agniveers in Jamnagar

JAMNAGAR, June 25, 2026 :- Major General Bimal Monga, the Additional Director General of the NCC Directorate Gujarat, interacted with and felicitated National Cadet Corps cadets selected as Agniveers during his official visit to Jamnagar. He commended the Group Headquarters of Jamnagar and Rajkot for achieving a progressive increase in the number of cadets successfully entering the armed forces under the Agniveer scheme from the Kutch and Saurashtra regions.

The defense official also visited INS Valsura to inspect ongoing training activities and infrastructure. During this visit, he witnessed the specialized watermanship training being conducted for the All India NCC Yachting Regatta contingent and reviewed the progression of the Combined Annual Training Camp.

The Additional Director General lauded the participating cadets for their immense enthusiasm and determination. He urged them to make full use of the extensive training opportunities accorded by the NCC to evolve into disciplined, confident, and successful future leaders of the nation.
