GUWAHATI, June 25, 2026 :- Under the aegis of the Eastern Command, Headquarters 51 Sub Area organized a dedicated outreach programme for Veer Naris and Veeranganas of Kamrup and Nalbari districts at Amingaon. The community welfare initiative was conducted in close collaboration with the Regional Sainik Board of Assam and the Assam Regimental Centre under the 101 Area command to support the families of fallen soldiers.

More than 100 Veer Naris, Veeranganas, and their dependents attended the event to address various administrative and personal grievances. The participants received direct assistance and guidance on pension-related matters, SPARSH digital services, documentation corrections, and multiple other welfare schemes run by the government and the armed forces.

The interactive camp provided an effective platform to resolve long-standing issues quickly through specialized help desks. This initiative reinforces the Indian Army’s steadfast and ongoing commitment to ensuring the continuous welfare, dignity, and overall well-being of Veer Naris and their family members.
