Narendra Modi to begin six day multi nation tour of UAE and Europe
NEW DELHI, May 12, 2026 — Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a comprehensive six-day international visit spanning the United Arab Emirates, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, and Italy from May 15 to May 20.
The tour aims to strengthen bilateral ties and enhance strategic cooperation across the Middle East and Europe through a series of high-level meetings and summits.The first leg of the journey begins on May 15 in the UAE, where Narendra Modi will hold an official meeting with UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Following this, the Prime Minister will travel to the Netherlands from May 15 to 17 at the invitation of Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten to discuss mutual interests and economic partnerships.
The itinerary continues in Gothenburg, Sweden, from May 17 to 18, following an invitation from Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson.
The final scheduled legs include a visit to Norway from May 18 to 19 to participate in the 3rd India-Nordic Summit and various bilateral engagements, followed by a visit to Italy to conclude the diplomatic mission.
