Joint Mock Drill Conducted on Acid Leakage Scenario at Patratu PVUNL Plant

PATRATU, May 26, 2026 — A joint mock drill on a simulated acid leakage scenario was conducted at the CISF Unit PVUNL in Patratu to assess emergency preparedness and inter-agency coordination.

The comprehensive safety exercise witnessed active participation from the National Disaster Response Force, CISF Fire and Security Wings, PVUNL management, medical teams, and the Jharkhand Police.

Following the simulated alert, emergency teams responded swiftly to the site. They successfully carried out rescue operations and leakage control measures with direct support from the present medical teams and local police personnel.

The exercise reflected seamless coordination, rapid response capability, and a collective commitment from all stakeholders involved. This joint initiative highlights the ongoing efforts toward ensuring industrial safety, disaster preparedness, and the protection of critical infrastructure in the region.
