Punjab Police Bust Cross Border Arms Trafficking Module in Ferozepur Five Pistols Seized
FEROZEPUR, May 26, 2026 — In a major breakthrough, the Counter Intelligence unit of Ferozepur has busted a cross-border illegal arms trafficking module.
During the operation, security forces arrested one accused and recovered five .30 bore Glock pistols along with four live cartridges.
Preliminary investigation reveals that the recovered weapons were allegedly smuggled into India through cross-border channels. They were intended for further distribution through the trafficking network.
An FIR has been registered and further investigation is underway to uncover both forward and backward linkages. Law enforcement officials are working to identify all individuals associated with the module.
