Indian Army’s Gajraj Corps trains ITBP medical officers in combat medical survival

TEZPUR — JULY 12, 2026: Under the aegis of the Gajraj Corps, the Gajraj Healers successfully conducted a week-long training program specifically designed for medical officers of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police. Codenamed “Samanvay Se Shakti,” the specialized initiative provided comprehensive training in combat medical survival and operational medical support.

The curriculum heavily highlighted the importance of jointness and synergy between the forces while encouraging a deeply supportive, empathetic approach toward patient care. By fostering mutual coordination and advanced tactical medical skills, the program significantly enhances inter-agency operational readiness during critical frontier deployments.
