J&K Govt Approves ₹18.96 Crore Water Supply Scheme for Pulwama

SRINAGAR, August 02 — In a major push to upgrade essential civic infrastructure across Jammu and Kashmir, the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah-led administration has granted administrative approval for a ₹18.96 crore Water Supply Scheme dedicated to Pulwama town.

Designed to modernize and expand the area’s existing distribution network, the initiative aims to address rising demand by delivering a reliable, efficient, and sustainable supply of safe drinking water to local residents. Once completed, the project will significantly enhance daily service delivery, strengthening basic amenities and improving the overall quality of life for households throughout the town.
