Deputy CM Surinder Choudhary inspects Nowshera projects
RAJOURI, MAY 11: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary completed a comprehensive tour of the Nowshera constituency today to evaluate the progress of infrastructure projects and the quality of public service delivery.
During his visit to the Rajouri district, he inspected several healthcare facilities, including the Sub-District Hospital Sunderbani and the under-construction MCH Hospital at Lamberi.
He instructed healthcare officials to prioritize efficient patient care and ensure that medical infrastructure meets the immediate needs of the local population.The tour focused heavily on regional connectivity, with stops at the Siot-Kalakote PMGSY Road and the Dhera Road projects.
Choudhary also assessed the construction status of the Bagnoti Nallah Bridge and the Masiti Mohalla Nonial bridge. He directed engineering wings to expedite work on these sites to reduce travel difficulties for residents, emphasizing that all projects must strictly adhere to durability and safety standards.
In addition to roads and hospitals, the Deputy Chief Minister visited the Sports Stadium Nowshera to review ongoing upgrades. He noted that the government remains dedicated to developing high-quality sports infrastructure to encourage youth engagement and support local talent.
Choudhary also reviewed works at various guest houses in Kangri, Rajal, and Nowshera, urging officials to maintain high quality in execution to ensure these public assets provide lasting benefits to the community.
Accompanied by a team of senior engineers and administrative officers, the Deputy Chief Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to the timely completion of all welfare and infrastructure initiatives.
He concluded the visit by meeting with district officials and healthcare administrators to ensure that administrative bottlenecks are removed to facilitate the fast-tracked development of the constituency.
