Delhi Crime Branch Foils Goldy Brar Gang Plot; Two Operatives Arrested with Major Arms Cache

NEW DELHI, July 14, 2026: In a major crackdown on organized crime, the Anti-Gang Squad (AGS) of the Delhi Police Crime Branch has neutralized a significant threat by arresting two active operatives of the notorious Goldy Brar–Lipin Nehra gang. The timely operation successfully intercepted a massive consignment of illegal weapons, effectively foiling a planned extortion plot and preventing potential gang warfare in the national capital region. Acting on precise intelligence, the police team seized six sophisticated firearms, eight live cartridges, and a Toyota Hilux vehicle that was being used to transport the contraband.

The high-stakes operation was executed by a team led by Inspector Krishan Kumar, working under the direct guidance of ACP Bhagwati Prasad and the overall supervision of DCP Harsh Indora. By capturing the desperate gang members and seizing their firepower before they could strike, the Delhi Police have delivered a severe blow to the syndicate’s operational capabilities, ensuring public safety and disrupting the gang’s regional network.
