AGRA, INDIA — JULY 13, 2026 :- In a powerful bid to empower youth and inspire the leaders of tomorrow, the Army Recruiting Office (ARO) Agra, under the aegis of the Zonal Recruiting Office (ZRO) Lucknow, conducted a highly successful motivational outreach session today. The event took place during the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC), organized by the 1 UP Battalion NCC at Shri Ram Mahavidhalaya in Panwari, Agra. Demonstrating immense enthusiasm for a career in uniform, a total of 432 dedicated NCC cadets—including 85 girl cadets—actively participated in the session, which aimed to bridge the gap between young aspirants and the defense forces.
The interactive session provided comprehensive insights into the various Officer Entry Schemes and the transformative Agnipath Scheme, highlighting the profound honor, immense career opportunities, and distinct responsibilities that come with serving in the Indian Army. A special emphasis was placed on empowering young women, with dedicated segments designed to motivate girl cadets to join the ranks as Agniveer Women Military Police (AWMP). In addition to fostering a spirit of patriotism, army officials thoroughly briefed the cadets on current eligibility criteria, step-by-step recruitment procedures, and the latest recruitment reforms. The event concluded with an engaging question-and-answer session, clearing doubts and igniting a strong desire among the youth to answer the ultimate call: Join the Indian Army. Serve the Nation. Live the Honour.
