Assam Rifles Leads Community Cleanliness Drive at Jadonang Park in Manipur

NONEY, April 19, 2026:- Assam Rifles organized a successful cleanliness drive at Jadonang Park in Gaidimjang Village, located in the Noney District of Manipur, as part of its ongoing commitment to environmental conservation and community welfare.

The initiative held special significance as participants paid homage to the legacy of the revered Naga freedom fighter, Haipou Jadonang, for whom the park is named.

Approximately 30 local residents joined forces with the security forces to clean public spaces, while simultaneously spreading vital awareness regarding the dangers of plastic pollution and the importance of sustainable living.

After ensuring the responsible disposal of collected waste to promote better management practices, the event concluded with the distribution of refreshments and essential medicines, further strengthening the bond of goodwill between the Assam Rifles and the local community.
