Amritsar Airport Honors K9 Hero Max With Heartfelt Retirement Ceremony

AMRITSAR, May 02, 2026 :- The CISF Unit at Amritsar Airport organized a special ceremony to bid a heartfelt farewell to Max, a canine hero who concluded years of loyal and meritorious service.

Throughout his tenure, Max played a critical role in safeguarding the airport and strengthening aviation security. Working shoulder to shoulder with CISF personnel, the dedicated canine ensured the safety of thousands of passengers with his exceptional instincts and unwavering commitment to duty.

The ceremony was attended by Airport Director Bhupender Singh and Senior Commandant Tushar D Sakhare, alongside several other officers and personnel.

The event was marked by deep appreciation and gratitude for the service rendered by Max, highlighting the vital role that canine units play in modern security operations.
