Agniveers complete gunnery qualifying course at INS Dronacharya to join Indian Navy

KOCHI, May 10, 2026A group of 153 young Agniveers reached a significant milestone in their military careers by successfully completing their 12-week Gunnery Qualifying Course at INS Dronacharya on May 9, 2026.

The completion of this rigorous training program was marked by a formal ceremony where the sailors took a solemn oath to serve the nation with courage, pride, and unwavering dedication.

This specialized course is designed to equip the personnel with the technical proficiency and combat readiness required for naval warfare and weapons handling.

Following their successful qualification, these brave Agniveers are now prepared to transition from training to active duty.
