ADC Unveils Official Poster for Kanwar Yatra in Udhampur Starting August 7

UDHAMPUR, AUGUST 05: Additional Deputy Commissioner Prem Singh officialy unveiled the official poster for the upcoming annual Kanwar Yatra during an event held in his office chamber in Udhampur today. The unveiling ceremony took place in the presence of key event organizers, marking a significant milestone in preparations for the religious pilgrimage from the region.

The promotional launch was attended by prominent civic figures and organizers, including Karam Karte Chalo NGO Chairman Vikas Kumar, along with event representatives Deepak Verma, Rakesh Dubey, and Kuldeep Sharma. During the ceremony, the delegation outlined the detailed itinerary for the annual pilgrimage, confirming that the sacred yatra is scheduled to formally commence on August 7, 2026, from the Dandyal Shani Mandir located in Ward No. 21.
