Jammu and Kashmir school summer vacation 2026 announced for winter zone

JAMMU, July 1, 2026 :- The Government of Jammu and Kashmir Directorate of School Education, Jammu has officially announced the summer vacation schedule for all schools falling within the winter zone of the Jammu division.

According to an official order issued by the competent authority, all government and recognized private schools up to the higher secondary level will observe summer holidays starting next week.

As per the official order number 226-DSEJ of 2026, the summer vacation will begin on July 6, 2026, and run through July 19, 2026. The directive has been circulated across relevant departmental divisions, including senior education officials and administrative heads, to ensure widespread awareness and strict implementation of the holiday schedule across all winter zone institutions in the region.
