Indian Army facilitates Rann Bhoomi Darshan tour for Arunachal Pradesh border residents
ITANAGAR, July 1, 2026 :- The Spearhead Division under the Spear Corps facilitated a special tour for 87 residents from the border villages of Gelling, Norbuling, and Tuting in Arunachal Pradesh as part of the government’s Rann Bhoomi Darshan initiative.
This program aims to connect local frontier communities with historical and cultural landmarks while fostering national integration.
During the tour, the participants visited the sacred Chorten located at Kepang La Pass and paid their respects to the fallen soldiers of the 1962 war at the Siang Shaurya Sthal.
The residents also visited a state-of-the-art audio-visual gallery showcasing the military history of the region. The initiative successfully reinforced the deep and enduring partnership between the armed forces and the local populations residing along the frontier borders.
