Jammu and Kashmir to announce summer vacation for winter zone schools shortly

SRINAGAR, July 1, 2026 :- Jammu and Kashmir Education Minister Sakeena Itoo announced that the official schedule for summer vacations in schools falling within the winter zone of the Jammu division will be released very soon.

In a statement shared on the social media platform X, the minister confirmed that the Directorate of School Education Jammu is preparing the official notification, which will align with the regular academic calendar guidelines for the region.

The upcoming order from the administrative authorities will specify the exact dates and duration of the seasonal break for all government and recognized private educational institutions functioning across the designated winter zone districts.
