University of Ladakh hosts certificate ceremony for security forces
LEH, May 16, 2026 :- The University of Ladakh concluded a specialized course on the History, Geography, and Culture of Ladakh, which was organized for officers of the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, and the Indo-Tibetan Border Police from May 11 to May 16, 2026.
Sudhanshu Sharma, Chief of Staff of the Fire and Fury Corps, alongside Saket Kushwaha, Vice Chancellor of the University of Ladakh, addressed the participating officers and presented them with certificates upon the successful completion of the program.
The ceremony also recognized Army personnel who completed separate training programs earlier in the year. Certificates were distributed to those who finished courses in Solid Waste Management and Chinese Language, both conducted by the University of Ladakh, as well as a Cyber Security course delivered by Rashtriya Raksha University between January and March 2026.
This initiative highlights the growing collaboration between the University of Ladakh and the Fire and Fury Corps.
The ongoing partnership aims to strengthen national security by focusing on academic cooperation, capacity building, and promoting military-civil fusion in the region.
