Agriculture Director Anil Gupta Reviews Field Activities and Launches Information Guide in Dansal

DANSEL, MAY 15, 2026Director Agriculture Jammu Anil Gupta conducted an extensive tour of Sub Division Dansal today to evaluate the implementation of various agricultural and developmental programmes.

During the visit, he inspected the Sub Divisional Agriculture Officer’s premises and chaired a Fortnight Training Programme, a regular initiative mandated by the Directorate to maintain high standards across all districts. A highlight of the visit was the launch of a new book titled Meri Pehchan Meri Panchayat, which provides a comprehensive overview of projects and basic agricultural data for 40 panchayats within the subdivision.

The Director also participated in a plantation drive as part of a broader departmental campaign focused on cleanliness and the beautification of office spaces.In addition to administrative reviews, Anil Gupta performed a field inspection to interact directly with local farmers and assess the ground-level impact of departmental initiatives.

He encouraged the farming community to adopt modern agricultural practices and maximize the benefits of centrally sponsored schemes to boost productivity and income. The tour concluded with a visit to the Kisan Khidmat Ghar in Churta village, where the Director reviewed services with Krishi Udhyami Udhay Sharma.

He expressed appreciation for the vital role Krishi Udhyamis play in bridging the gap between the department and the farming community by providing essential extension services at the village level.
