SRINAGAR, MAY 15, 2026:- Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Transport, Information Technology, and Youth Services and Sports, Satish Sharma, visited the Maple and Ivy Flea Market at Amar Singh Club today, where he underscored the vital importance of promoting indigenous products and local entrepreneurship.

Accompanied by Nasir Aslam Wani, Advisor to the Chief Minister, the Minister inspected a wide array of stalls featuring fashion, handicrafts, and lifestyle brands, offering specific praise for the Kashmiri artisans and entrepreneurs participating in the event.

He noted that such platforms provide essential visibility for local startups and small businesses, allowing them to showcase the region’s rich cultural heritage and craftsmanship to a broader audience while contributing to sustainable economic growth and self-reliance.
