Gajraj Corps Commander Meets DGRE Scientist to Discuss Himalayan Security Technologies

TEZPUR, May 8, 2026:- Neeraj Shukla, General Officer Commanding of Gajraj Corps, met with P.K. Satyawali, a senior scientist from the Defence Geoinformatics Research Establishment, in Tezpur to discuss critical technological advancements for border security.

During the interaction, scientists briefed the commander on the latest research in weather and avalanche forecasting. These specialized mobility support technologies are designed to significantly improve the operational effectiveness of troops stationed in the challenging terrain of the Eastern Himalayas.
