Sakeena Itoo honors top achievers of ALOHA GAT 2025 at Srinagar ceremony
SRINAGAR, MAY 01, 2026:-Minister for Education, Social Welfare, Health and Medical Education Sakeena Itoo felicitated the top performers of ALOHA GAT-2025 during an awards ceremony held today at SCERT Bemina.
The event, organized to celebrate academic excellence and competitive spirit, was attended by Director School Education Kashmir Naseer Ahmad Wani, Director for the Centre for Good Governance at IUST GN Itoo, and various senior education officials alongside a large gathering of students and parents.
Addressing the audience, the Minister noted that the unique assessment goes beyond testing intelligence, highlighting its role in strengthening mental arithmetic, analytical thinking, and overall cognitive development in children.
During her address, Sakeena Itoo praised the unprecedented talent found among the youth of Jammu and Kashmir, asserting that children in the region simply need the right opportunities to excel and create their own paths to success.
She emphasized that competitive platforms like ALOHA GAT are essential for nurturing talent at an early stage, helping students build the confidence, speed, and accuracy required for modern education systems.
The Minister also made a point to recognize the efforts of all participants, stating that even those who do not finish as top scorers deserve praise for their courage and commitment to participating in such challenging examinations.
