Dao Division and ITBP Conclude Joint Mountain Warfare Training in Arunachal Pradesh
ARUNACHAL PRADESH, April 21, 2026 — Troops from the Dao Division under the Spear Corps, in collaboration with the Shaurya Commando Team of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police, have successfully completed a specialized two-week mountain warfare training program.
The intensive training concluded with a rigorous 24-hour drill known as Exercise Mountain Prahari. This joint initiative was designed to test the endurance and tactical proficiency of the personnel in high-altitude environments, ensuring they are prepared for the unique challenges posed by the mountainous terrain of the northeastern frontier.
The exercise focused heavily on refining advanced battle drills and fostering seamless synergy between the Indian Army and the paramilitary forces.
