LEH, June 17, 2026 — Ladakh Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena addressed the State Consultative Workshop on strengthening cyber security frameworks for state data held in the region, focusing on creating actionable solutions to combat persistent cyber threats facing government bodies, financial institutions, and the public.

Speaking at the event, Saxena emphasized that as digital governance and artificial intelligence-driven public services expand rapidly, safeguarding citizen data and critical digital infrastructure must be treated as a top priority.

He noted that because the digital world operates without physical borders, cyber security requires proactive preparedness and collective responsibility, expressing confidence that the workshop would significantly help build a robust national framework to secure government data across India.
