Poonch Administration Cancels Scheduled Civil Defence and SDRF Mock Drill
POONCH April 19 2026:- The Deputy Commissioner of Poonch took to social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, to inform the public regarding a change in the scheduled training calendar for local emergency services.
According to the official update, the routine mock drill originally slated to take place between April 20 and April 24 has been officially cancelled.
This exercise was intended to be a collaborative effort between Civil Defence and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) to sharpen emergency tactics and local response times.
The administration emphasized that there is no cause for alarm or public anxiety regarding the sudden cancellation of the event.
