Multiple Security Agencies Join Forces for Emergency Response Drill at Agartala Airport

Agartala, April 15, 2026 :- The Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport in Agartala became the site of a sophisticated security simulation as several of the country’s elite forces gathered for a high-intensity joint mock exercise.

The operation involved a diverse group of tactical units, including the Central Industrial Security Force, the Central Reserve Police Force, and the Assam Rifles. Members of the Albert Ekka Brigade’s Ghatak Platoon also played a central role alongside the Tripura Police and the Airports Authority of India.

This drill was designed to test the limits of inter-agency communication and tactical execution during a simulated security breach, ensuring that every organization can operate as a single, cohesive unit under extreme pressure.
