Udhampur Police Launch Martyr PSI Deepak Sharma Memorial Sports Tournament at Government Degree College
UDHAMPUR, March 30, 2026 — In a heartfelt tribute to the bravery of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, the Udhampur Police officially inaugurated the Martyr PSI Deepak Sharma Memorial Sports Tournament today at the Government Degree College (Boys) Udhampur.
The event was declared open by Additional SP Udhampur Sandeep Bhat, alongside DySP DAR DPL Lines Jatinder Singh Sambyal and other senior officials..

The tournament features six competitive teams from across the Udhampur district, showcasing talent in a variety of disciplines including Cricket, Badminton, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, and Tug of War.
The inaugural day kicked off with an energetic cricket match between Garnai Cricket Club and Udhampur Cricket Club, drawing a significant crowd of local residents and young sports enthusiasts.
