MET Srinagar issued Weather update of Jammu and Kashmir
Srinagar 23 August :- ππ€π§ππππ¨π© : 23-26 Aug: Light to moderate Rain/thundershower at many places with hvy rain at few places of JMU (JMU, REASI, UDHAMPUR, SAMBA, KATHUA & RAJOURI) & with moderate to hvy/intense showers over Poonch, Ramban, Doda & Kishtwar and Southern parts of KMR div.
β27-31 Aug: Hot & humid weather with brief spell of Rain/thunder at few places.
β1-5 Sept: Generally hot & humid with brief spell of Rain/thundershower at few places

β Possibility of intense/ heavy Rain/thunder at few places of JMU Div & KMR Div during 23-26 Aug .
β Cloud burst/Flash floods at few vulnerable places with Landslides/Mudslides/shooting stones .
β Stay away from water bodies/streams/Nallas/river embankments/loose structures/Kachha houses etc.
β All concerned are advised to follow accordingly.
