Shri Amarnath Yatra 2026 tikri langar inaugurated for pilgrims in Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, JULY 2, 2026 — Following the grand reception organized for the first batch of pilgrims participating in the Amarnath Ji Yatra 2026, Deputy Inspector General of the Udhampur Reasi Range Shiv Kumar and Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Minga Sherpa formally inaugurated the community kitchen service at the Kali Mata Mandir in Tikri.

The opening marks a key step in providing essential food and support services to the thousands of devotees passing through the district on their spiritual journey.During the inaugural event, the Deputy Commissioner alongside several senior officials from the district administration personally served meals to the arriving pilgrims.

This gesture highlighted the local administration’s dedication to maintaining high standards of hospitality, ensuring welfare support, and delivering selfless service to facilitate a smooth, comfortable, and successful conduct of the annual holy pilgrimage.
