Jammu Inspector General of Police promotes 169 police personnel and four followers

JAMMU, July 2, 2026 — Jammu Zone Inspector General of Police Bhim Sen Tuti issued promotion orders today for several police personnel. The promotions include upgrading two Head Constables to the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspectors and 160 Selection Grade Constables to the rank of Head Constables, alongside granting In-Situ promotions to three Constables and four Followers.

The promotions have been accorded in recognition of the dedication, sincerity, and exemplary service rendered by the officials, and the move is expected to further enhance operational efficiency, leadership, and public service delivery across the region.
