Samba Police Arrest Notorious Female Drug Peddler with Heroin Near AIIMS Vijaypur
SAMBA, July 30, 2026 – Continuing its ongoing crackdown against narcotics smuggling, Samba Police arrested a notorious female drug peddler and recovered approximately 10 grams of a heroin-like substance from her possession near AIIMS Vijaypur.
A police team on routine patrol intercepted the suspect, identified as Meenu Bibi, a resident of Rakh Barotian, Vijaypur, after observing her moving under suspicious circumstances. A personal search led to the recovery of the contraband, which was immediately seized alongside her arrest.
Authorities have registered a case under FIR No. 130/2026 under Sections 8, 21, and 22 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Vijaypur, initiating a detailed investigation into her network. Police officials confirmed that the accused is a repeat offender with multiple NDPS Act cases previously registered against her at the same police station, marking her apprehension as a significant step in disrupting local drug supply chains.
