Ramban Administration Reclaims ₹2.5 Crore Land from Drug Peddlers in Anti-Encroachment Drive

RAMBAN, JULY 19: In a significant crackdown under the 100-Day Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Campaign, the District Administration Ramban, alongside the Police, Revenue, and Forest Departments, executed a massive anti-encroachment operation today.

Supervised by Deputy Commissioner Ramban Mohammad Alyas Khan and Senior Superintendent of Police Ramban Arun Gupta, joint teams of Executive Magistrates, revenue officials, police personnel, and forest staff successfully retrieved 18 Kanal 0.5 Marla of State land and 16 Kanal 4 Marla of Forest land. The illegally occupied properties, valued at an estimated ₹2.5 crore, were seized from drug peddlers as part of a zero-tolerance strategy aimed at dismantling illicit networks, protecting government property, and enforcing the rule of law.

Reaffirming their commitment to a drug-free society, the administration warned that the campaign will intensify in the coming days, promising strict legal action against drug trafficking and illegal land occupation while urging the public to report any suspicious activities.
