Eid-ul-Adha celebrated with religious fervor and grand congregations across Ramban

RAMBAN, MAY 27, 2026 :- Eid-ul-Adha was celebrated with great religious fervor and festive spirit across the Ramban district as people from all walks of life gathered at various mosques and Eidgahs to offer special prayers. The auspicious occasion was marked by widespread devotion, brotherhood, and communal harmony.

The largest congregations were witnessed at the Jamia Masjid Sharif Ramban as well as Eidgahs in Banihal, Gool, and Batote, where hundreds of devotees offered Namaz-e-Eid and prayed for peace, prosperity, and the well-being of the nation.Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Alyas Khan extended warm Eid greetings to the public, emphasizing that such sacred occasions strengthen the values of unity, mutual respect, compassion, and communal harmony in society.

Alongside him, MLA Arjun Singh Raju extended his greetings, wishing peace, prosperity, and happiness for every household in the region. Senior officers from the civil and police administration, including SSP Arun Gupta, ADC Varunjeet Singh Charak, Additional SP Mujeeb-ur-Rehman, and Tehsildar Deep Kumar, were also present to convey their heartfelt wishes to the community.

Senior officials visited major congregational sites to participate in the celebrations and oversee the peaceful conduct of the festival. To ensure a smooth and safe observance of Eid-ul-Adha across the district, the administration and police made elaborate arrangements, including security deployment, traffic regulation, sanitation, drinking water supply, and other essential amenities.

Beyond Ramban town, Eid prayers were successfully offered at multiple surrounding locations, including Jamia Masjid Maitra, Karol, Chandrog, Upper Ramban, Banihal, Sangaldan, Ramsoo, Ukhral, Batote, Gool, and Rajgrah, filling the entire district with an atmosphere of spiritual reflection and joy.
