Anti Extortion Action in Manipur Security Forces Arrest Youth Alliance Member in Bishnupur

Bishnupur, July 29: Security forces arrested an active member of the unregistered group People’s United Youth Alliance from his residence in Bishnupur district for involvement in extortion activities.

The arrested individual was identified as twenty-seven-year-old Oinam Nikarson Singh, a resident of Leimapokpam Mayai Leikai falling under the jurisdiction of Nambol police station.

During the operation, security personnel recovered and seized three receipt booklets along with documents containing detailed information on Health Department employees.
