Indian Army Recruitment Rally 2026 Begins in Puducherry for Over 6,000 Candidates
PUDUCHERRY, Aug 3 — The Indian Army Recruitment Rally 2026 is currently underway at the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex in Puducherry, bringing together thousands of aspiring candidates from across the region. Organized by the HQ Recruiting Zone Chennai, the event is being conducted in close coordination with HQ Dakshin Bharat Area, the local civil administration, Puducherry Police, and various stakeholder agencies to ensure seamless execution.
Taking place from August 1 to August 10, 2026, the ten-day recruitment drive is witnessing active participation from over 6,000 candidates competing for diverse roles within the armed forces. The available positions include Religious Teacher JCO, Havildar Education, Soldier Technical Nursing Assistant, Sepoy Pharma, as well as Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Technical, and Agniveer Tradesmen.
